A new report on the global physical security market finds concerns about terrorism and widespread adoption of surveillance and mobile technologies will deliver a strong market in the coming years.
The research from Data Bridge Market Research notes the market is forecasted to grow more than 11 percent through 2026.
Factors driving the increase include growing incidents of terror threats, desire for technology improvements, the implementation of wireless technology in security systems, a growing use of IP-Based video surveillance and more mobile-based access control.
The research also notes, however, that privacy concerns against installation are a hinderance. Other obstacles to growth include a lack of synergy among security solutions and device interoperability issues.
